Producers shall collect the EHF upon the sale of regulated electronic products,
and remit it to
Electronics Stewardship Association of British Columbia (ESABC) at the end
of every month, together with supporting documentations / reports. These
documentations / reports will be used primarily for audit purposes. Producers
(first seller) are responsible for the collecting and remitting of the EHF
according to the Recycling Regulation.

* Computer Units refer to functional computers that contain several basic
components such as a Computer Case with Power Supply, a Central Processing Unit,
Mainboard, Hard Drive, and Memory. These computers can be stationary or
portable.

Printers*

*Printers are defined as units that are capable of creating printed matter using
various printing technologies such as dot matrix, ink jet, laser, thermal, laser
& electro photography, and so forth. These units can be standalone or be part of
other functions such as facsimile, scanner, or copier, otherwise also known as
“multifunction“ units.

Display Monitors*

*Two prevalent display units are Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitors, and flat panel
units such as Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) units that are capable of projecting
images from a computer unit. These units do not have a built-in TV Tuner unit.
Close Circuit Televisions, or CCTV, are included as display monitors.
